To find print books housed in the Health Sciences
Library, use our electronic catalog.
This catalog is shared by other libraries in a
consortium of medical and hospital libraries throughout the state. Our holdings
are indicated by the Mem Med abbreviation. The system is set to default
to our holdings only, but you may view the print holdings at the Mercer Medical
Library in Macon or another library's collection by using the drop-down
menu.

Full borrowing
privileges are extended to all Memorial University Medical Center Team Members
and to the faculty, staff and students of Mercer University School of Medicine.
Library users must have established a library account before checking out

Circulation Policy
Circulating Books -- 14
days. The check out period for a book can be extended to 30 days to accomodate
extenuating circumstances such as clerkship rotations and special projects.
National Board Review
Books -- 3 days.
Journals -- no check
out.
Reference Materials -- no
check out.
Reserve
Materials Reserve One -- 4 Hours or overnight
Reserve Two -- 30 Days or length of rotation
Overdue Or Lost
Materials
Patrons with overdue
materials may not check out additional items until their circulation records
are cleared by Library Staff. Overdue notices are sent out on a regular basis.
The staff asks that you make every attempt to help keep materials available for
all users. If you have a special need to keep material, please speak with the
Library Staff (912-350-8345).
