Sciences Collection Containing more than
470 full-text journals, this database covers topics in emotional and behavioral
characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology,
and observational and experimental methods. Off-campus requires GALILEO

PsycINFO The
American Psychological Association's PsycINFO database, with over 2,000,000
records, is the most comprehensive international database of psychology. It
covers the academic research and practice literature in psychology from over 45
countries in more than 25 languages. PsycINFO includes relevant materials from
related disciplines such as medicine, psychiatry, education, social work, law,
criminology, social science, and organizational behavior. It provides indexes
to journals, dissertations, book chapters, books, technical reports, and other
documents from 1887 to the present. Some articles are available in full-text.

Academic Search
Premier Covers popular and scholarly journal articles with many
full-text articles. Academic Search Premier provides information from a wide
range of academic areas including business, social sciences, humanities,
general academic, general science, education and multi-cultural topics. This
multidisciplinary database features full-text for over 4,000 journals with many
dating back to 1975, abstracts and indexing for over 8,200 scholarly journals,
and coverage of The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times
and The Christian Science Monitor. It also includes coverage of over
6,800 peer-reviewed journals. Off-campus

ERIC Educational
Resources Information Center (ERIC) contains index and abstracts of articles,
books, and documents covering all aspects of education and educational research
and practice, including both published and unpublished sources on thousands of
educational topics. It corresponds to the printed indexes of RIE (Resources in
Education) and CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education). This database is
produced by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S.

consumer oriented information on many health topics including the medical
sciences, food sciences and nutrition, childcare, sports medicine, and general
health. It includes searchable full text for over 150 consumer health journals,

professional health care publications, and thousands of essays covering eight
major health related subjects, including adult health, behavioral health,
cardiology, drug and medication information, pediatric health, senior health,

Therapy AAMFT--representing 23,000 marriage and family therapists in the

field of MFT. Its website presents extensive information on MFT and includes

Georgia Association for Marriage & Family
Therapy Georgia division of the AAMFT. Includes information on local
conferences, continuing education classes, Georgia job opportunities, MFT
licensure rules, and more.
Georgia Composite Board of
Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family
Therapists The Board is charged by law with regulating the practice of
professional counseling, social work, and marriage and family therapy in order
to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people of Georgia. It does so

Formerly the National Clearinghouse on Child Abuse and Neglect
Information and the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse,
the Child Welfare Information Gateway provides access to information and
resources to help protect children and strengthen families. A service of the
Children's Bureau, Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of
Health and Human Services, Child Welfare promotes the safety, permanency, and
well-being of children and families by connecting child welfare, adoption and
related professionals as well as concerned citizens to timely, essential
information. Access is given to print and electronic publications, the
Children's Bureau Express Online Digest, websites, and online databases

REHABDATA REHABDATA,
produced by the National Rehabilitation Information Center, is the leading
literature database on disability and rehabilitation. The database describes
over 65,000 documents covering physical, mental, and psychiatric disabilities,
independent living, vocational rehabilitation, special education, assistive
technology, law, employment, and other issues as they relate to people with
disabilities. The collection spans 1956 to the present.
National Stepfamily Resource
Center The National Stepfamily Resource Centers primary objective
is to serve as a clearinghouse of information, resources, and support for
stepfamily members and the professionals who work with them.
